Valentines day is not celebrated in Macedonia, instead they celebrate St. Trifon, the saint of wine and vineyards. This year I introduced valentines day to all of my students, we made cards, necklaces and the 4th and 5th graders worked together to make stained glass hearts to decorate the library. Now it is time for me to go celebrate Macedonian style and head to wine country for some festivities!
